The boutique in Guangzhou is our first project in China. And as for the other boutiques, we wanted to mix some of Acqua di Parma essentials :
the golden fruits, the Art Deco, the arches, the beautiful warm yellow and the symmetry, with some local Chinese inspirations.
So we have created, especially for the Guangzhou boutique, some lamps, vases, and murals.
The hanging lamps are inspired by traditional Chinese paper lanterns, but in a very recognisable lemon shape mixed with yellow ribbons and pompoms.
And as the yellow handmade hat boxes are very important in the Acqua di Parma heritage, we have created some Ming inspired boxes, that are part of the decor, and a subtle tribute to the amazing traditional chinese vases. Also we have created some porcelain vases, blue and white, using some of the patterns we have designed for Acqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo.
The floor is in terracotta, with a chinese grey stone border. The bath and body furniture is inspired by the traditional chinese medicine cabinets, so some white lacquered drawers with at the center a large shelving area with a sink, our arch mirror all in a very dark red glossy lacquer.
Finally we have created those huge square arches, in glossy yellow and the entrance of the boutique and in wood inside the boutique. They celebrate the traditional arches but in a very modern way.

Place des Lices, Saint-Tropez

Invade the Place des Lices with the golden fruits of Acqua di Parma!
They slip between the furniture, under the shelves and grow bigger until they even become a completely round architecture in order to present Acqua di Parma's summer collection.
A solar space with terracotta floors reminiscent of the orange-pink of St Tropez, lime walls, a lacquered ceiling and two large benches that brush against a citrus zest table.
Candles, perfumes, diffusers are installed in minimal stainless steel furniture which contrasts with the sun-drenched golden fruits. »

EMILIE ZANNIER GAVE US THE OPPORTUNITY TO DESIGN ONE UNIQUE SHOP FOR TARTINE & CHOCOLAT, IN SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÉS.
OUR IDEA WAS TO CREATE A UNIQUE CONCEPT, INSPIRED BY THE TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS OF THE BRAND : THE "GARDA" (STRIPES) & OF COURSE THE HEDGEHOG, MIXED WITH MORE CONTEMPORARY ELEMENTS : WALLNUT, ZELLIGES WITH SCALLOP EDGES, BRASS ...
THE SPACE WAS ALL MADE OF GLASS, SO WE HAVE CREATED A WOOD FLUTED MEMBRANE, TO HANG CLOTHES, TO SHELTER OPEN ARCHES & CRAFT FURNITURE...
AS THE HEDGEHOG IS THE SYMBOL OF TARTINE & CHOCOLAT, YOU WILL FIND IT ON THE FLOOR ON THE HANDMADE MOSAIC, ON A HAND PAINTED FRESCA, ON THE STORE FRONT, EVEN ITS FOOTPRINTS ARE ON THE STAIRS...
