Joyeux Bordel is a cocktail club in Shoreditch in London. With an exclusive sound system from the 20’s, this place located on the basement of Curtain Road, has a mix of handmade elements such as this «malachite» handpainted pattern painted directly on walls by Alexandre Poulaillon, who i already worked with on the floor of the Grand Pigalle hotel. A collection of antique vintage rugs are also sewed together and covers the floor as a carpet, together with burnt wood tables, french mouldings, velvet & fringesand a counter inspired from an old bathtub from the twenties... an happy mess !
